This policy explains what information Northern Sites collects, why, and what your rights are. Northern Sites is run by Adam Crouch in Wallasey, Wirral, who is responsible for your information. Contact me through the contact page with any questions.
What I collect
- Enquiries: your name, email, phone number, business name and message when you use the contact form.
- Client updates: your name, company, email, the changes you ask for and any photos you upload.
- Orders and payments: your name, company, email and what you've ordered. Card payments are handled by Mollie, and I never see or store your card details.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To build, host and update your website, and to take payments for it.
- To keep records that I'm legally required to keep, such as for tax.
I use it because it's needed to provide the service you've asked for, to meet legal obligations, or for my legitimate interest in running the business. I don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- Mollie processes card payments and monthly plans.
- Google provides email.
Some of these companies may store information outside the UK, with safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Client and payment records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, as required for tax purposes.
Cookies

Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where I don't need to keep it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, but please contact me first so I can put things right.
